Tony Blenderhead Mimobot

Mimobot / USB flash drive design-challenge – 2010
Woozle and Lorax were first created in the Fall of 1997 by me and my friend Bryan Rountree, At the ages of 12 and 13 (while attending 7th grade at the Albuquerque Academy) we began illustrating a comic strip telling the story of two little aliens who crash-landed their space cruiser in Roswell, New Mexico. Shortly after wondering into a car lot in search of parts for their ship, W&L are mistaken for little boys by used car salesman Tony Blenderhead. It is with Tony's bizarre intentions that they begin their cross-country adventure where they quickly blend in with and become absorbed into American pop-culture. Ironically the "two little boys" have never been recognized as aliens...

Woozle und Lorax was published in the Albuquerque Academy school newspaper "The Advocate" for 5 years, winning numerous awards and developing a highschool fan base of like-minded nerds.

This particular rendition of Tony was illustrated for the 2nd Mimobot USB flash drive design challenge at infectious.com – Tony was received quite well garnering a notably high amount of votes and did almost as well as our Lorax Mimobot submission the previous year. Nevertheless, Bryan and I have yet to win a mimobot design challenge. Hopefully the 3rd time is a charm...
