ArtsUP! is a non-profit production company of site-specific art installations (private/commercial/public), experiential learning venue & exhibition gallery. We source and exhibit artists interested in prototyping large-scale art installation concepts. Our exhibition gallery in FATVillage Fort Lauderdale allows consumers to experience our artists react to an architectural space with site-specific installation/architectural activation.

ArtsUP! challenges many conventional constructs, from how it is produced, what it produces & how viewers experience the art.

Each exhibit is approached as a 'startup'. The selected artist presents unique aspects that can't be formularized. In process there is learning throughout, a cross-disciplined collaborative working through a series of problem-solving maneuvers to achieve the artist's vision.

The scale is 'massive' and pushes the boundaries toward public art, but in a gallery type model for prototypes/exhibitions.

Artists, always a solo show, get to prototype their abilities in a form typically unique to commercial/public commission.

The gallery itself exists 12 feet off the ground. Art is installed up to the ceiling. Looking up is how the art is consumed. As if under an imaginary second floor, the viewers peruse the 5800 Sq ft. aerial gallery from the ground space, which is representative of any number of commercial uses. Only cracks in the imaginary floor (12 ft above), allow bits of an installation to occupy the peoples' space below.

As stated by a patron, "ArtsUP! is almost a bootcamp for artists".

Once an artist exhibits, he/she graduates ArtsUP! with a production team ready to respond to any opportunity laying ahead of them.
