I enjoy painting portraits but I wanted to try and do more than the head, neck and shoulders. I think its important for me to expand my scope to include more of the body. I also thought it was about time I tried anther known character so for this piece I brought my earlier Red Sonja, which was 3D, up to date with a 2D version.

I actually like how this turned out. I got to experiment with different ways to approach the hair, and try my hand at some weaponry and clothing.
