Freelance: Kickerprint clothing design

Late last year I was approached by a client asking me to create unique and eye catching illustrative graphics. These graphics would be used to be printed on clothing worn by school children on ski trips. The client provided me with initial ideas and sketches and provided me with complete creative freedom to change and tweak them as I pleased. The client provided me with a mood board featuring other artists to take influence on.
Ultimately my designs to heavy inspiration from Vans clothing and branding designs as well as other aspects of skate and extreme sports culture as well as the artist Mcbess.

An original logo I designed for the client, the logo itself represents a mountain with the lines on the side acting as the screen print ink. the logo also features a bold eye catching font.
Rough sketches and some unused designs.
The finished designs.
"Race me" graphic, the client allowed me to take some creative liberties with his initial ideas. This design was heavily inspired by retro era comic books.
Rick and Morty inspired graphic, I didn't change much about this, I just cleaned up the design for more resemblance to the source material it is based on.
Helmet graphic
I had decided to create one graphic in my own illustrative style, using the initial idea as more of a branding slogan.
Star Wars themed graphic (Don't kill me Disney)
I decided to stay true to the initial Idea here, cleaning it up and giving it more of a traditional tattoo style.
This graphic was a cumulation of an unused idea from my rough sketches and the previous "Powlife" graphic in which I used my own illustrative style.
A text based design, I decided to make this graphic bolder and more eye catching, it is heavily inspired by Vans branding designs.
Another traditional tattoo inspired Graphic.
Again here I decided to stay true to the initial idea only choosing to clean it up and tweak things slightly.
An original graphic I made, inspired by american sports team logo graphics.
While this part is ultimately up to the client I made a mock up showing a potential layout of the graphics on clothing.
