Sixstation Workshop was invited by Mr. Kan Tai-Keung to design a poster as a celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Xinhai Revolution.
A typographical design solution was performed—By using a hundred Chinese characters of citizen (Min), an essential element of our country's philosophy, to make up the word China (Guo). Piercing through the character vertically is a powerful calligraphic stroke by Mr. Lei Zhao-hua, member of Hong Kong Calligraphers' Association, forming the word "Nation" (Zhong Guo) in a marco manner and distributing waves of visual impacts.
