UNICEF: WATER UNDER FIRE POSTER
Water Under Fire is an article written by UNICEF to bring awareness to the struggles in getting clean water to those in underprivileged nations, particularly children impacted by war or civil unrest. The article discusses water being a “weapon
of war,” used against innocents in many areas of the world. Water is one of the main killers of children and families in the world, yet its something we interact with everyday. This is compared within this poster by mixing a common juice box mimicking a dirty pipe and misleading typography. Through these elements viewers can see how directly this issue impacts children. This poster was created in hope to bring awareness to this problem and to inspire change and action.
