DESIGN CYPHER (Rebrand)
I don't believe in redesigning a logo for the hell of it. There has to be a good reason to do so. In my case the old logotype for Design Cypher wasn't legible to many. Another fundamental flaw was that the logo didn't work as one-color. When I first created the logo I thought it was witty and clever. I was wrong! It was confusing to many and it didn't take long for me to realize that. Shortly after rolling out the logo and identity I received a check from one of my clients and the name was written out "DYSHGR CEPIEN". This was reason enough for me to do away with the old logo and start fresh.
Below is the new logo and identity for Design Cypher. I think you'll agree it's much improved.
