Graphic Design 2: Duluth Disparity Project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Students choose any STEEP disparity facing the Duluth community. Students then ask “how design can help solve this problem.”

Students will then solve the issue they find with anything design encompasses including: communication/graphic design, web design, mobile application design, product design, fashion design, interior design, architecture, etc. Students are expected to brand their solution and use the brand’s identity across any/all media.

The end result of the final product will use the student’s proficiency of the design process including; visual research, creative brainstorming, conceptualizing, critical thinking, the use of formal design principles, collaboration, and presentation to clearly communicate a positive initiative/change.
