Refresh & Rebrand

A Fresh Future through Honored History

The Texas Tech University (TTU) Office of Marketing & Communications was asked by the National Ranching Heritage Center (NRHC) to update its web presence to reflect forward-thinking, family-friendly leadership and events in 2015. A new hire, I was given the privilege of working with the team at the NRHC to translate their bold vision of frontier America with the frontier of the web. In 2018, I want to revisit the project with a fresh perspective and matured esthetic while expanding the project into a full-rebrand.


Double-T Refresh

Before tackling the website for the NRHC, I wanted to update the TTU Double-T. By clarifying forms and aligning to a strong grid, the Double-T is refined to reflect the focused mission of TTU. By harmonizing its proportions, the Double-T takes on new energy to reflect the diverse growth of TTU. With new vigor, the Double-T carries the visual DNA for the rest of the university's colleges, departments, and organizations.
