SZÁLKA
Alkotásommal az élővizek szennyezettségére és rohamos mértékben való csökkenésére szerettem volna felhívni a figyelmet. 'Él mint hal a vízben.' - tartja a mondás de ha annak környezete megváltozik vagy kikerül onnan, elpusztul. Halcsontvázat formáló szobrom ezért lebeg a víz tetején. Kiragadtam természetes életteréből és fölé helyeztem, melyben nem képes életben maradni. Megtervezésénél fontos szempont volt, hogy a vízi madarak számára alkalmas leszállóhely legyen, így utalva arra, hogy a természet mindig regenerálódik és alkalmazkodik, újra teret nyer magának.

With my work, I would like to draw attention to the soiling of waters and to the extreme rate of their decrease. “To live like fish in the water” — the proverb says (Hungarian proverb — referring to being in
a satisfying state of living), but if the environment of the fish is changed, or it is taken out of its environment, it perishes. This is why my statue of a fishbone is floating on the top of the water. I took the fish out of its natural habitat and put it above that where it cannot survive. While designing, it was an important criteria that water birds could land on it hinting that nature always regenerates, accomodates, and re-gains ground.
