Ruma, derived from the word "Rumah" which mean "Home" in bahasa, is a hashery (small restaurant) located in Skale at jalan Sonokembang, Surabaya - East Java. They provide an affordable home based Indonesian food with a twist (like nasi goreng, mie goreng, kletikan, kopi tubruk, etc) and also some western menu as a variant.
The identity (logotype) are inspired from aksara jawa character with minimalist approach, in order to create a local character image and represent "homey" feel because Ruma serves a home based Indonesian (mostly javanese) food and they want to make everyone who eats there feel like at home.
