The prompt of this project was to create a poster and three coordinating social media posts for an event of my choice. I chose to create a poster that advertises a movie night located in Central Park, New York City. I made the focal point of the poster a movie screen that reads "Movie Night" and designed an environment that encapsulates central park. I designed a green hill with scattered trees and grass shrubs. There are blankets with snacks and drinks to resemble what people would bring to this movie night. Behind the movie screen are skyscrapers that are a similar color to the sky, ensuring a cohesive background. There is a subtle gradient from dark blue to light blue to add dimension to the sky. In my social media posts, I stayed consistent with the poster designs. In the last social media post I emphasized the blankets and snacks while keeping the buildings and trees in the distance.
