Radical Concept
This project aimed to create a new sports car for the Radical range by adding some new technology and design trends while still keeping it distinctively a Radical by using their style and signature features. These features include the arch behind the seats and the simple surfaces that really focus on ‘function over form’ and allow a lot of space for sponsors. I designed the car to be manually convertible with the front and rear window and the roof being detachable. To help with aerodynamics the mirrors have been replaced with cameras and the structure of the rear spoiler has been built into the end pieces. The spoiler can adjust to give more downforce in the corners and less drag on straights.
