Concept Exhibition Stand

I created this concept as an example of the best of what we can create at Euro Concept so that we can sell this design to a business if they have a large business. These renders show how it could be used for a clothing company but it could be adapted for many uses.

Much of this stand was inspired by industrial-style loft apartment with the huge windows, brick walls and wooden flooring. The brick walls would actually be brick effect laminate if it was put into production. The very tall walls give an impressive feel and it also gave me the opportunity to show that we have the ability to create a stand with two stories. The simple exterior doesn’t show what’s inside, in an attempt to draw the people in by having a sense of mystery and so that you won’t feel as if you were in an exhibition when you are inside as the windows are clouded. There is a huge logo at both ends of the stands, with which every letter or shape is an individual light-box to catch peoples attention and to contrast with the old style of the walls.
Entering the stand you will come to the information desk, a large, minimalist desk with a metal front where you will be greeted upon entering the display. The large wall behind has large opening, covered by a hanging poster so that you only get a glimpse of whats inside. After passing past the reception desk you will come into a large open space where the most important displays will be. Above this space a large globe of light will be hung from the ceiling, acting as the focal point.
In the centre of the stand is the two-story section which has private meeting rooms and a storage room underneath and a cafe/bar on top. You access the bar area by spiral staircases at either end. Underneath the meeting rooms are divided by glass walls so that you can talk in the quiet. Having a lot of places to sit is really important so that all of the customers have somewhere to sit when it gets really busy. The companies don’t want to miss out on any business opportunities.
The cafe area has enough space for 8 sofas and 6 bar tables and the bar island in the where the staff can work from. Most of the drinks and food can be stored in the storeroom downstairs and glasses and plates can be washed in the storeroom too. I feel this area could be a great place for customers can relax away from the busyness of the exhibition outside. This comfort would be part of the luxury that comes with being a customer of the business who owns this stand.
Down the side and round the back of the two- story area is a carpeted corridor where there are more posters and displays lining the walls as well as a tv wall looking over the bar area. There is also a fire exit in each corner where people can walk in and out rather than walking to the front. To the right is a plan view so you can see the layout of the stand and the design of the carpeted area.
