Lateral Thinking, a book by Edward De Bono

The following project is a book cover design for Edward de Bono's "Lateral Thinking." The cover design is non-traditional and utilizes a unique visual concept that appeals to a wider audience and aligns with the themes and ideas presented in the book, as well as the publishing house Penguin. The design aims to capture the essence of de Bono's message on creativity and problem-solving through innovative and unconventional means.

The illustration depicts a person holding a tampon to their nose, with a surprised look on their face. It is intended to be a humorous and satirical representation of an unusual solution to a problem. However, it is important to note that using a tampon for this purpose would not be safe or effective in real life. Tampons are specifically designed for use during menstruation and should not be used to stop a nosebleed. This illustration is not intended to be disrespectful or trivialize the importance of menstruation and reproductive health. It is meant to be seen as a playful and light-hearted way to grab readers' attention.
