What is Source?

A CRM capable of customizing your business workflows and data collection to real-world demands. You control what data you capture and how it visually appears.

Typography and Colors

Most competitors choose blue. It's calm, informative, and commonly done. We hated that, so we made it red. We want to emphasize the speed of the application in conjunction with its adaptability.

User Interface Design

Changing how to capture the data, then rendering a beautiful UI afterward isn't easy. To simplify the process for the user and ease the developmental load, we modularized all visuals. Then we allowed various points in each ui to hook into some data. As a user, all they must do is select and connect; we handle the rest.

Tailored Business Logic

You control what data you capture and how it interacts with the rest of the application. In its most simplistic form, name a collection of data you want to capture, like "person", then add its attributes. In its most advanced form, data attributes are configurable using our built-in automation kit. They can be computed-updated if a dependent changes- or attached to a formula tu perform an action in the ui.

Challenges

The largest problem in this CRM was allowing the level of customizations we want to offer while keeping the application manageable to develop. When most application includes many edge cases that could occur, it can be very difficult to develop and create a seam-less bug-free experience.

To achieve this we reduced the scope of the application. We are not Sales Force, we're not Epic. We don't need to offer the same integrations and features that they do. Our CRM niche is its' adaptabilty~the ability to change workflows and on the fly. One change we made after reworking the scope was removing the ability to create plugins and add-ons to handle unique business logic in favor of integrated automation tool. This allowed us to tightly control the scope of what could be modified.
