A friend from London asked me to design a logo for her small business, Indigo Heartz, in which she makes custom heart shaped art pieces and jewellery, she had requested the logo be unique but also not too busy. The brief detailed that she wanted a heart shaped logo with wings and horns. Once I had created an inital shape we were both happy with a then created a flash board of variants using different ideas, fonts and colour ways and sent it over for review.

The client then provided me with a list of different illustration themes she wanted me to create using the initial heart logo as a base, the list included a cat theme, punk theme, viking theme, fairy theme, tattoo theme, BDSM theme, tribal tattoo theme and a cherry bomb theme. I was given complete creative freedom with how these designs looked, sending over various sketches (as seen below) for feedback until the client was happy to move ahead with finalisation.
