Library Langenfeld | Kids Area
Wall painting in the kids area of the library Langenfeld, a city in western Germany. Like in the teenager area as well the design is based on the lines made by the stairs, that here comes along as a simple but exciting arrangement of various flats. All the black parts are painted with a special chalkboard-colour, kids can write and paint on with chalk. In collaboration with dutch architect Aat Vos – renowned concepter of librarys across Europe – who was the creative guide for the redesign of the whole library.
