Delhi 100
In 2012, New Delhi completed 100 years of being India’s capital. Limca wanted to celebrate this event by having a special mention in the yearly edition of Limca Book of Records. Delhi’s Red Fort stands testimony to the bygone eras of the great city, it was here that India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru hoist the national flag declaring independence. Hence the iconic monument was used in the symbol created for Delhi 100 years.
