Working Not Working - Fight the Robots
Late summer I got a super rad call from the great folks at @wnotw (Working Not Working) to create a badass #conan versus #robots #illustration for their internal Welcome Guide to Working Not Working. This was a super fun opportunity to channel #HeMan and #Transformers from the 80s wrapped up in an apocalyptic vision of conquering the evil. Working with #AlexandraMossa and #MikeODonnell at #wnotw was a great experience and they were all about “Do your Thing!” So cool to collaborate with great people. Kicking off the project with brief from Working Not Working, I dove into a handful of sketches to share first with the client, from here we dive into pencils/ink, get sign off and then to color.
Working Not Working loved the "Sword in the Stone" feel of the last one, really making the viewer the slayer, so we dove in.
Here is the beginning stages of tightening up the Keylines and getting sign-off from clients on the robots and sword.
