A budapesti Néprajzi Múzeum 2022-ben új épületbe költözik. Ez a munka a költözés alkalmából meghirdetett arculati pályázatra készült.
The Budapest Museum of Ethnography is moving to its new building in 2022. This design was created for the identity competition on this occasion.
Mivel a múzeum gyűjteménye nagyon sokszínű, nem szerettem volna egy konkrét népművészeti motívumból kiindulni. A logó tervezésénél inkább ezeket a kulturális gyökereket vettem alapul, melyek a világ számos pontjából kúsznak be a múzeum új épületébe.
I opted not to build the logo on a particular ethnographic motif, as the Museum showcases a variety of cultures. Therefore, I rather combined the cultural roots creeping in from many parts of the world with the shape of the future new building.
Színek/Colors
Mivel a Néprajzi Múzeum új épülete a megújuló Városliget része lesz, az arculati színeket is úgy választottam ki, hogy összhangban legyenek ezzel a környezettel.
As the new building of the Ethnographic Museum will be part of the renewed city park (Liget Budapest), I also chose the colors to be consistent with this new environment.
