MARINATEX BRAND IDENTITY
The Marinatex identity was realised to be displayed at a graphic design competition at the University of Portsmouth.
Marinatex is a compostable alternative to plastic. It is a biodegradable textile made with fish waste and red algae.
The goal is to create an alternative to bags and single-use packaging.

It has been decided to use the red colour for two reasons: firstly, the aim was to stand out in the blue and green panorama of sustainable brands, secondly because Marinatex has a fair amount of red algae in its mixture. Roboto is a modern and versatile typeface, and the colour palette can recall all the values of the product: sustainability, circularity, and ecology.
