Introducing Content Credentials on Behance

Introducing Content Credentials on Behance
Published March 29, 2023 by the Behance Team

At Behance, our mission is to empower creatives to take control of their careers and get paid. We also want to help ensure that a creative’s work always receives the proper attribution.

In 2019, Adobe launched the Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) to promote adoption of an open industry standard for content authenticity and provenance. In collaboration with creators, technologists, journalists, and media companies, we are developing an industry-wide attribution framework that will provide increased trust and transparency for digital content.

Protect Your Work with Content Credentials

With the CAI feature Content Credentials, you can attach attribution to ensure that you receive credit when your work is shared. When enabled, Content Credentials gathers the edits, activity, and attribution information associated with work you create on Photoshop. This information is captured as tamper-evident metadata when you export the final artwork. Content Credentials will be integrated into more Adobe Creative Cloud products this year.

When you share your work with Content Credentials to Behance, all the saved metadata will be displayed alongside your content so you can provide transparency to your viewers and affirm the authenticity of the work.
