I have always been intrigued by the process of aging and end of life ramification, from the freshness of tomatoes to the wrinkle age of life in human, animals, plants and products.

I am an interdisciplinary artist based in London and Groningen; I work on ranges of media, which includes but not limited to painting, photography, and sculpture. I am interested in exploring issues related to identity, possibility, and our universe.

My working method and work cache can be very complex and challenging to label into a specific artistic definition; as I work across various art genre that sometimes border along the lines of impractical abstraction base on political, narrative expression, or just self-referential.

I am more interested in the contents of my work and the impression it generates rather than on techniques and styles: using metaphorical elements/parody with minimum regard for the aesthetic result of the artwork.

I also use a variety of materials in my art projects; new or used materials or found objects that appropriately challenge, or suit the particular subjects that I set out to address in my project.

My creative objective is not to achieve perfection in my work, but to relentlessly pursue it, because I believe perfection is an illusion. A notion that limits one’s creative progress, therefore I create my artwork with minimum attention to aesthetic appeal. And, to allow viewer’s imagination play a critical role in appreciating my work in socio-cultural context.
