I have been an independent design director since 2010, designing or directing in projects around the US and abroad. Major clients and studios who have used my services include DesignStudio, Google, HP, IDEO, Interbrand, Landor, TurnerDuckworth, UCLA, Y&R and Visa.
From 1999 until 2010, starting with an internship and leaving as a design director, I worked at the San Francisco headquarters of Landor Associates, the leading design and branding agency. I was involved with a variety of clients, including AMD, Barclays, Boeing, Broadview Security, Brocade, Covisint, Encore Careers, GS, Hilton Corporation, HP, KumhoAsiana, LG, Microsoft, Nextel, P&G, PeoplePC, the San Diego Zoo, United Airlines and Visa.
Prior to joining Landor, my studies took place at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where I received a BFA in graphic design. From 2011 until 2014, I returned to the school as a part-time professor/advisor of graduate studies in branding.

The Island was a one-week workshop aiming at exploring the design opportunities offered by Processing software for creating generative graphics, animation algorithms and collaborative digital environments. Through working collaboratively to create a multiplayer game, The Island acted as a framework for learning the basics of interaction designing through creative coding.
