Filmmaker. Photographer. New Yorker.
My parents, Catholic nuns and 90’s television raised me. Between my father’s diverse record collection, my mom’s sewing machines, trunks overflowing with fabric, and PBS, I’ve always been exposed and drawn to art in some form. During my college years I struggled with deciding what would be my career focus, eventually realizing I have a true passion for film and photography. I received my undergraduate degree in Film and Television Production from Brooklyn College. I’ve self-studied photography and continue to learn with every shoot, looking to master the craft.
I believe in perfecting a product, giving it my full attention until it represents the best that I could create. I’m very passionate about all projects in which I’m involved and look to manage things down to the smallest detail.
Whether you’re explaining to someone how your day went or you’re a photojournalist in the middle of a war, at every person’s core is a storyteller. All my projects tell stories. Whether it’s a personal piece or commissioned work, I look to creatively direct a project in such a way that it becomes something more than random photos or videos. It’s a visually pleasing story that provides perspective and insight. I’m on a never-ending journey to create and tell the perfect story.
When I’m not working I’m probably at home, drinking coffee and running through my Netflix queue so please feel free to say hello via email, Skype, or phone. Read Less
