Virginia Reiner graduated in 2003 from the International School of Design in Cologne (KISD) and has been working, since then, as a freelance consultative designer. Next to design, she is passionate about photography, illustration and painting; activities she exercises privately as well as professionally.

Curiosity, openness and a holistic perspective are the drivers of her work. The foundation of her creations is the belief, that only innovative, product-, brand- or company-specific solutions will work, especially if developed in a sustainable manner and focussed on the long-term.

Direct communication with the client and a close working relationship are of outmost importance in order to develop ideas, content and graphical concepts or means of communication. Collaborating with a strong network of established specialists with various areas of expertise, no project is too big: from the idea stage / inception to realisation and production of the best creative concept.

Her personal creative work and projects are more experimental and of a playful nature. Not influenced by briefings and solution-finding-strategies, they enlarge the creative spectrum. The designer’s own diverse, multicultural background often influences her works. While Virginia Reiner was born in Argentina, she and her family has lived also in Venezuela, Mexico, Columbia and Austria. Since their move to Germany at the age of 15, she decided to settle with her son in Cologne. The cultural impressions of Cologne and her journeys influence and enrich her creative work. Read Less
