Hello, I'm driehaus. Welcome to trying to emulate oils in Photoshop. So every day we take about 30 minutes out of the day and we try to use a different paintbrush. There's about 2000 paint brushes that Kyle Webster has made for Photoshop and unless you take the hard work of just sitting down and using them, it's hard to know what they do and how they work. And in fresco we've got a digital media emulator that kind of does some of that work for us, but in Photoshop every look.
That you want of like imposta or smudge or smear or brush strokes they all. Uh, gotta be used or accessed through a different paint brush so you really need to build some familiarity. Get some pencil mileage in, and understand how they work. And I found that most tutorials either cover them categorically and big broad concepts, or they do like speed paintings. And so this live stream is pie in the most boring life stream ever, because it's just me painting, but we work through a different paint brush everyday and we get a feel for how they work so you can learn from my mistakes and we can do fun stuff together, hopefully so.
