I am deeply enamoured with optical illusions that look like one thing from a given angle, and then something else from another angle. It's my favourite kind of sculpture in physical space, and my favourite transition in motion design. A well designed asset and a simple flip are so satisfying. Honorable mention to the best video game "the Witness" for ample use of this concept where perspective creates the image.

Anyway, today I'm back in Cinema 4d to work up some typographic illusions with volume builder and retopography tools that have made creating clean meshes from volumetric modelling really simple. What does any of that mean? We'll find out soon!

Also, please bear with me, c4d is a little outside my usual comfort zone. But, I'm paying for the full licence, so I might as well get some practice in. See if I get any better week to week?
