Having graduated from Southampton Solent University in 2011 with a 2:1 in "Writing Fashion and Culture" I am now ready to begin work in the world of fashion styling, photography and journalism. My course covered a vast variety of different subjects including: Art history, Magazine layout design, Web design, Feature and news writing, Fashion styling, Fashion theory and Photography.

I loved my course and it has only encouraged me more to work in the fashion industry. Styling and Photography is something I love in particular, something I would love to continue working on once in the industry as well as journalism.

University has provided me with a variety of experience with certain computer programmes that will undoubtedly be of use in the editorial industry. I have experience in programmes such as Adobe Photoshop CS3, CS4, CS5, Dreamweaver (web design), Indesign and Quark. I am also able to use both MAC and PC computers confidently. My passion for photography has equipped me with a knowledge of DSLR cameras and I am able to set up lighting and use a studio effectively to create professional quality photos.

I have experience in the industry already working with designer Aruna Seth and for various magazines, both print and online such as Fabulous and handbag.com. I also have experience writing a column for online magazine: www.myretailheavenmagazine.com. I enjoy writing posts on everything from showbiz and fashion to music and current affairs for my own blog too:www.vivaciousv1.blogspot.com.

I am really interested in furthering my career in photography and styling. I have done several shoots at university where I did all photography, styling, art direction, makeup, lighting and editing myself. I also take photos regularly in my spare time. It is a passion of mine and I love teaming clothes, makeup and other inspirations all together in order to create a certain vision. Having said that, I do love writing and enjoy being part of a buzzing editorial office atmosphere.
