Yagama is an artist who works in a large variety of media, including design, painting, film and video art, installations and performance. She has performed and collaborated on artwork, as a live video artist and set designer, in over 13 countries around the world. Her interest lies in creating multi-levelled transformational work, inspired by everything from myth and ritual to humorous personal stories. Through experience with multiple artistic media, she hopes to eventually create spaces and environments that affect all senses, transcending the traditional division of the arts. As a founder and artist of the Uga Buga Art Collective, Yagama carried out a number of art projects, including the creation a plant labyrinth in Geo Milev park in Sofia, many installations and set design projects. She started working with video in 2007 and she has taken part in many international and Bulgarian festivals as a live video artist and co-created a Bulgarian Culture Fund award-winning video/theatre performance “KaroL:Lorak.” She is a member of the Visual Berlin community and the Fire Connection Berlin group.
