Douglas P. Lobo is a Brazilian contemporary draftsman who lives in Montevideo, Uruguay. His compositions are built from a digital platform and are characterized by attributes of figuration and abstraction synthesized by the amalgamation between solid shapes and strong brushstroke rendering patterns. He's structured in the aesthetical examination of subjects through the depiction of fictional evocative narratives, framing often wandering lonely beings, transmorphic beasts, masked deities and empty settings.

Lobo has provided art for companies such as Vertigo / DC Comics, 3DTotal, Fantagraphics and Brainstorm9. Also, his works were published by magazines Wildside Press, Strange Horizons and Slice Magazine, among others. He has made part of group exhibitions in Helsinki, Valencia, Porto, Bogotá and Minneapolis.
