I have been a working artist for more than 40 years. After graduation from Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, I freelanced in the advertising field as a commercial illustrator. After many years of creating artwork, under tight deadlines, to satisfy someone else’s creative project, I decided to start making art that satisfied my own interests and curiosities. These days, in addition to painting, I make trompe l’oeil sculpture out of paper mache pulp that mimic stone and ceramic. I use a recipe of my own making for the paper mache pulp, and oils, graphite and acrylics for the faux finishes. I also make sculpture out of recycled corks and bottle caps. Read Less
