A student at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Patrick Pistor is currently studying web and mobile computing. He won the 2016 Apple Design Award with his game DIVIDR, and he serves as a Founding Partner for Contrary Capital, a decentralized university venture capital fund. As a Software Engineer Intern at Intuit, he is seeing firsthand the inner workings of a major software organization, gaining skills that he can use throughout his career.
For the last two years, Patrick has worked as a founder, developer, designer, and mentor, collaborating with start-ups to ensure successful, effective launches. He participates in hackathons with regularity, attending some of the best-known and most highly reputed events in the country. With more than five years of web development experience, Patrick has been featured in USA Today, CNET, Techcrunch, Indie Game Magazine, Business Insider, and RIT News.
