Connecting ideas and technology across silos takes the right person with a passion for great design and a strong sense for what the business needs. That’s where I put my energy: Getting out and understanding the user and harnessing research insight to define problems, and turn those problems into opportunity. I lead teams so that they can envision how to combine x and y to create new product experiences - and apply them to create new business.

Currently my creative work is centered around the bicycle business. I thrive on tight deadlines and working to solve difficult problems - and love helping my team get things done. Good design is based on critical decisions that move the project forward. I have spent years taking consumer insight and turning it into great product experiences. Read Less

As of Dec 2011: Lead industrial designer for Trek Mounatin Bikes - its exciting constantly changing. I embrace the chaos that is the product development process - I love the energy, the urgency, and the fact that no matter what happens you must move forward. As a designer at Trek I am afforded a lot of opportunity to experiment - and that I do.

Prior to Trek - Electronic toy and game designer at Radica Games, and before that designing vacuums for Panasonic. Plenty of freelance work sprinkled in here and there - see the portfolio. Read Less
