The Krétakör Media Workshop has been producing new media art since 2009. Part of what the workshop does is provide all-round documentation of Krétakör’s performances and appearances in both moving image and stills, online and offline alike, curate Krétakör’s web presence, and develop all the company’s printed promotional material. Recent years have seen the department release DVD value added material, books, brochures, graphic art, and installations. The workshop also sometimes takes on independent productions or outside projects such as the feature film jp.co.de in 2011, or the development and implementation of Can you hold the line? campaign for the promotion of responsible drinking in 2010 and 2011. The Media Workshop is committed to creating the highest possible design and media credentials for Krétakör in the performance arts scene on the one hand, and to becoming a viable player in the wider design and media arena as a separate group.
