Katherine Sopranos is an executive and media relations specialist experienced in business, communications, and branding strategies for diverse external and internal audiences. Katherine Sopranos’ strategic expertise at Fortune-ranked companies includes crisis management, change management, ethics, employee communications, corporate citizenship, public relations, and event planning.

In her corporate roles, Sopranos managed the business communications and media strategies for the company’s CEO and other senior executives. This position required her to compose press releases and to strategize on ways to effectively execute corporate activities, including acquisitions, divestitures, new product launches and Internet ventures.

In addition, she has worked as a freelance writer, publishing over 200 articles in the Tribune Company’s flagship publication, the Chicago Tribune. Her articles were predominantly about topics in the areas of transportation, real estate, and employment. She also produced a weekly column called “ On the Job,” which ran in the paper’s Business.Technology section.

From 2002 to 2006, Katherine Sopranos served on the Board of Directors of the Publicity Club of Chicago, an organization that supports public relations professionals with education and opportunities for networking in the Chicago area.
