My background is in photo restoration and digital imaging. My art falls somewhere in the photo-illustration field. I like to "tell the story" through photo manipulation. Photographs always equated to pieces of a puzzle to me. I like to blend the real with the imagined.

I received my BFA in Photography from Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, Ma in 2000. I minored in Illustration. Shortly after college I began working for a photo lab/digital imaging center. I honed my photoshop skills and became their photo restoration specialist. Old photos had always been an interest of mine. Restoring them became a passion. I love a good challenge. Missing half the face, no problem. Need someone removed from or added to an image, no problem.

It was a natural progression to bring my photography and illustration together through digital manipulation. This led to an interest in gallery exhibitions. Presentation was always drilled into my head by my professors, and a chance to frame and present my artwork drove me to several successful art exhibits throughout new england.

I never let go of photo restoration and image retouching. After over ten years in the digital imaging field, I have had opportunities to work with or for a number of great clients, including publishers, photographers, and historic societies. My freelance work ranges from photo-illustrations and image editing that can be seen all over the ZombieBomb! comic anthology (released by terminal press), to portrait retouching, photomontage creation, and fine-art scanning/reproduction.
