Daniel Kamp is an award-winning designer based in Hong Kong and New Zealand with a portfolio spanning furniture, object, sculpture, installation and interiors.

Working under the brand KAMP.studio, Daniel designs objects and spaces for clients in a signature 'minimal-organic' style which has earned his work international acclaim. KAMP.studio also sells an in-house collection of homewares and lighting, designed by Daniel and produced by world leading technologist and craftspeople.

Daniel’s sculptural approach to creating products and interiors prioritises ‘design feeling’ over ‘design thinking’ and combines digital technologies with traditional crafts and natural materials. This focus on marrying the industrial and the organic, with a minimalist sensibility , results in pieces that feel at once experimental and familiar - unique and simple.

Kamp is also the director designer of White Light - a lighting design and production lab using digital craft to create customisable lights for interiors.

Previously Daniel was a Co-Founder and Creative Director of product and spatial design studio Think & Shift and Co-Founder, Designer at contemporary furniture brand Y.S Collective. Kamp carries a bachelor's degree of Design Innovation - majoring in Industrial Design and his work has been recognized through awards, exhibitions and media coverage all around the world. Read Less
