I have been working professionally in advertising since 2004, first as a copywriter (2004), then as a junior designer for DDB Latvia and art director for GREY Latvia. After that I started working independently on various large scale projects in Latvia including Dinamo Rīga ($12 million dollar professional ice-hockey club), Positivus Festival (largest open-air rock festival in the Baltics featuring stars like Muse, Moby, Keane, Travis etc.), publishing house Satori and political party Reform Party (20.5% support in 2011 elections). For all of these projects I have tried to be more than just a designer -- I have also been a long-term creative partner trying to help them grow as much as possible and learning from their experiences myself as I go along. I keep in touch and still work with all of the mentioned projects except for Dinamo Riga. In 2009 I started my own design agency in Riga called "Give Us Work Riga" which wasn't a success.
In 2011 I moved to London, UK with my girlfriend who at the time started working on her PHD at the Royal College of Art and since then I have been living and working in London. Read Less
