William Lanigan is an architect and artist active in Houston TX. He received his professional training at The Harvard Graduate School of Design after being awarded his bachelor's degree in visual studies at Harvard College. Since 1998, Mr. Lanigan has taught all aspects of visual imaging, using traditional and digital media, along with architectural design and technology subjects, at The Art Institute of Houston, where he now holds the position of Director of Design.

His personal work includes drawing, painting photography, and printmaking; and he has recently undertaken a restoration project involving graphic fine art from the period 1880 - 1940. The examples seen here demonstrate the opportunities associated with the re-processing of vintage art using contemporary tools and technology. Read Less
