Charlotte Girod is a dutch designer and a registered interior architect.

She works as CG Interior Architecture on interior assignments for both private and corporate clients.

She also works as a freelance product designer: a stool and a chair of her design - the ‘Kkkrukk’ and the ‘Ssstoelll’ - are included in the design collection of the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg, Germany.

Art plays an important role in her life: she gains inspiration from music as much as from visual arts. She also often destills her thougths through visual arts.

In 2012 she started to make music video’s with cellist Örs Köszeghy. The videos can be seen on Youtube. In this cooperation she also made a film especially for ‘Oog’ by Michel van der Aa, projected live during the performance of Örs Köszeghy in the Eye Museum Amsterdam, as part of the Cello & Film festival by the Cello Biennale Amsterdam in September 2014.

Charlotte graduated at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague (NL) as Bachelor of Design, after following painting lessons at Els Benjamins in Warder, at CREA in Amsterdam, and taking the Saturday course at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam.
From 2005 she is working as an interior architect: for seven years she was co-owner and founder of Studio Voortman & Girod and for two years of Girod & Van Doorn Interior Architects and realised more than a 100 projects.

She is always open for new collaborations and inspirations.
