After studying at art college in Utrecht, Holland (in the then new and mysteriously called department of “Autonomous”), I flirted with fashion design for a few years before focusing on another of my passions, Latin American literature. Without much of a plan, I ended up in Honduras where I founded and directed the Copán Pinta foundation, later called Asosciación Cultural Arte Acción Copán Ruinas. After twelve years of teaching art, fundraising, administrating and being a director, I found it was time to focus fulltime on the arts again. So here I am, surviving while painting, writing and designing, a lot of it heavily influenced by the Maya world that surrounds me. Read Less
