Pull up a virtual chair beside me and take a mini peek into my life and how my digital journey began .

How it all started I am a SEASONED.. still learning it all .. Web Developer/Graphic Artist.and I am self taught One of the biggest reasons that I am where I am today is because of Rick Peterson of Essential Photoshop Elements.

His easy to understand video tutorials and Kindle Books had given me the inspiration and motivation to jump right in and go for it! So I did and I want to give a huge ... THANKS WRECK* ( that's a little private joke that Rick and I share and I just might share it with everyone one day ;0)

Okay on with my story.Like I said... ...if it wasn't for Rick Peterson and his tutorials.....then https://www.behance.net/adeecreations never would have been.

How is that possible you ask??

Well it's like this....If you are looking into the same field of work as I am in and you are self taught then pay close attention. This is a true story and somewhat humorous,so stop yawning and read on!
In 2001 I turned on my first computer...( didn't even know where the button was on a computer at that time).
Then my oldest daughter (everyone wave and say Hi Tiffany!)....hooked me up with email...it took me about a week to get use to the fact that I didn't have to go to the end of the driveway to get mail that someone sent to me.

Okay so then lets fly into 2003. My youngest daughter (everyone wave again and say Hi Stephanie!) ..got me into a site called IMVU..how fun!!
I got to play dress up and decorate rooms and all sorts of things that I missed about my childhood years. Then...contests on IMVU...hmm and I saw people putting up the most strangest and fabulous type of pictures and flashy animation and so crisp and smooth and oh the colors and sparkles and those really *how the heck did they do that* kind of effects!!

Being from a Biker Bitch..oops..babe.. type of background for over 20 years at that time and rough and tough and hard to diaper, you could say that I was more into catching bugs with my teeth on a week long Harley run.... then I was at trying to sit still and stare at a computer monitor all day....but I gave it a shot .
I got introduced to something called Software ... AND that anyone you can use a software program to help learn how you create all kinds of things and snazzy effects and Photoshop was the best out there at that time ... and still is.. IMHO .. and it's made by a company called ADOBE...well.... software to me at that time was a leather jacket and leather chaps and a leather vest....but.... ADOBE??
I thought it was pronounced A Doobie ...and yes I know that double O's together make an oooooooooooo sound and only one O sounds like OOOOOOO.............. BUT..........
........having been raised in a french province like Montreal, Quebec in Canada with a French Mother, German Father and a Turkish Grandmother (who us kids could never understand what she was saying half the time in any language anyways.....except
when she said "Engelbert Humperdinck" and "Tom Jones" , with pure English clarity).
So my parents decided to make English our primary language spoken at home and it was a bit of a chore trying to keep track of exactly who was right in pronouncing the English words and the spelling of them. and the double OO and single O sound must of gotten lost in our translation along the way...literally!
But we sure had some hilarious moments talking to each other learning English.

Okay back on topic:

Eventually I found out that Photoshop's company manufacturer is pronounced *a -DOugh-Bee. NOT *a DOOBIE.
Okay so I bought my new SOFTWARE and I was clicking all over the place trying to find the Paint Brush and after I found it ,what was I suppose to paint on and where the heck is the paint anyhow??
(..to be continued....)
