I’m a UK based illustrator who primarily works digitally although I have recently started widening my use of tools to physical media such as screen printing, and painting and I am currently experimenting with combining both digital and physical methods.

I see myself primarily as a storyteller there for my work consists largely of narrative illustration, creating and publishing my own comics and graphic novels. My work tends to fit into the Horror, Sci-fi and Fantasy genres and so deals with subjects such as mythology, urban legends, folklore, conspiracy theories and paranormal phenomena and all manner of other bizarre topics.

My visual language is rather simplistic and primarily consists of a very simple selection of colours, then shaping those colours occasionally with the use of line work to create an image. I’ve found that this style lends itself very well to Screen Printing and can easily be adapted to suit a large number of potential formats such a poster designs, books covers, t-shirts, post cards etc.

Some of my biggest influences are that of heroes and villains found in comics and televisions and movies, but more recently that of small press comics made by illustrators like Isabel Greenberg, Jack Teagle and Luke Pearson and their vast array of styles, subject matter and technique. They really spoke to me and gave me an area I could focus my work and career on.
