Jeremy Feakins once told an interviewer that in 30 years as an entrepreneur and investor he has ridden “a roller coaster of elation and disappointments.” When he has hit the peaks, certainly, he has been able to survey the landscape and see possibilities others might have overlooked.

It has led to a career in which he has ventured hither and yon. At various times he has embraced opportunities in international oil, medical innovation, real estate and (most recently) in renewable energy.

A native of Great Britain (and naturalized U.S. citizen), he currently serves as the CEO of JPF Venture Group, the Chairman of the Board for Ocean Thermal Energy Corporation (OTEC), and the Chairman and CEO of Queen Street Development Partners.

As JPF Venture Group’s CEO, Jeremy Feakins heads a company that offers counsel to entrepreneurs, which in turn will enable them to make informed decisions to positively impact their development.

Jeremy Feakins has served since 2010 as Ocean Thermal Energy Corporation’s chairman, helping the Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based company continue development of a technology that is capable of producing clean, renewable energy courtesy of the temperature difference between the warm surface water of tropical oceans and the deeper, colder water.

Ocean Thermal Energy Corporation has projects in various stages of development throughout the Caribbean, Pacific Rim and Africa. Most notable is the Seawater Air Conditioning (SWAC) system designed for the Baha Mar Resort in the Bahamas, which upon installation will provide air conditioning for five hotels and a casino.

The company also plans to one day open EcoVillage communities featuring self-sustaining homes and condominiums.

In all Jeremy Feakins has helped Ocean Thermal Energy Corporation attract over $25 million in private equity, negotiate more than $100 million in senior debt project financing, and obtain a listing on the US OTCQB Market.

As chairman and CEO of Queen Street Development Partners, a Lancaster-based commercial property development company, Jeremy Feakins has done such things as head up the redevelopment of a retail space, the Rebman Building, into a combination retail/residential structure that includes energy-efficient, environmentally friendly housing.

From 2005-08 Jeremy Feakins filled the role of Executive Vice Chairman and a Director of Caspian International Oil Corporation, a holding company that owns all but five percent of the equity in two limited liability partnerships.

Jeremy Feakins founded Medical Technology & Innovations, Inc. (MTI) in 1990, and served as chairman and CEO of that company through 2006. MTI developed and constructed a vision-screening device known as The PhotoScreener, designed to unearth eye maladies in young children.

MTI grew markedly on Jeremy Feakins’ watch, as investors saw a 500-percent return on their original outlay when the company went public. In addition, a major eyewear company bought the distribution rights to PhotoScreener.

Jeremy Feakins was also Managing Member of Growth Capital Resources, LLC, from 1998 to 2006, managing the public listings for companies such as IP Voice Communications, Inc., Care Recruitment Solutions, Inc., and China YCT International, Inc.

Jeremy graduated from the UK Defence College of Logistics and Personnel Administration and spent seven years in the British Royal Navy. Read Less
