Stadia as a building typology has been a central object of his career as an architect at academic and practical levels. Currently he is interested in the research of design methodologies and indicators that can orient stadia´s design processes towards the achievement of beneficial legacies. Professionally he has worked with stadia proposals for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, stadiums and arenas for private and public clients, housing and retail projects in Brazil. His research is fully funded by the Brazilian Ministry of Education and aims to comprehend the array of forces that are related to stadia´s design and construction, striving to establish the necessary link between social and urban demands with the business ecosystem that produces this building typology.
