Kenya Danino is a multi-media visual development artist traveling between New York and Massachusetts. Currently, she resides on Boston College's campus as a senior pursuing a degree in Studio Art and minoring in African Diaspora Studies. Her primary goal as an artist is to bring quality works of art in studio and story form back to the younger generation. With an ever growing art world, especially in the animation industry, technology zooms in on presentation and tends to focus less on the narrative of stories being projected on the big screen.
Danino, recognizing how glued and subservient to technology and teachings our young generation has become, utilizes digital and mixed media to create fun stories that captivate the audience while exploring deep concepts in life. In other words, she wants you to have a good laugh, but also take the time to contemplate what you’re laughing at!
As of now, Danino participates in various freelance opportunities as well as college courses that allow her to do as such. Her current focus is in children’s book illustration. Read Less
