In the area of Fine Arts, the possibility of concluding thoughts and observations in a three-dimensional object has always intrigued me the most. Therefore, the sculpture has become a field in which I fulfill my artistic projects.

The essence of things, by which I mean the condition for the existence of every being is the primary source of inspiration for me. The words of Konstantin Brancusi accurately reflect my way of perceiving reality:
What is real is not the external form, but the essence of things.. it is impossible for anyone to express anything essentially real by imitating its exterior surface.
I feel that learning about the world through our sense of sight, hearing and touch, gives us only vague, incomplete picture of the surrounding reality.
Therefore, in my work, I am constantly trying to get to the essence of things that surround us. Imitation only seemingly allows us to represent the essence of things, so it creates an illusion. My purpose is not to imitate, but to create the potential form of beings.

Usually image and form of sculpture is formed very quickly in my consciousness. Sometimes the design is formed under the influence of very strong emotions, otherwise I work in complete silence and tranquility.
I carefully choose and compose each element of my work, and rarely use readymade. Although the sculptures are created intuitively, they are not accidental. The objects that I make are the result of a synthesis of information and impressions that reach me everyday. They are like a reflection of my afterimage and perception of the surrounding world. I know that when I close my eyes they are out there waiting for the act of creation.
The work that I make are usually very smooth, but it is impossible to know and understand them right after just one glance. Each of the objects has its own unique identity. Sculptures that I create are quite a challenge for viewers, they force them to make an effort and use imagination and release emotions. Objects created by me are supposed to provoke the viewer, confront him with something totally new and therefore force to break the natural human tendency to organize things.
The act of creation begins with a sketch and graphics that make up the basis for the next steps in the formation of the sculpture. The objects themselves are not a clear reflection of previously created drawings, but independent entities.
I have worked in a variety of materials such as stone, wood, steel, bronze etc. At this point, I use mixed techniques and the main raw materials are all kinds of plastics and pigments. I do not use graphic programs or plotter in the process of formation, which often leads to unconventional and surprising solutions. Read Less
