The major objective of this industry internship was to understand the structure
and functioning of organizations in the apparel sector.

Display of the values, ethics and competencies associated with a responsible
professional in the industry.

Being able to relate classroom learning practically in the working environment at the organization.

Enhance the ability to apply skills for effective presentation and communication, identify
work competencies for personal development and growth, set future career goals, be able to work
in a team to contribute effectively in a work place,work independently and to
manage time efficiently and effectively.

The tasks expected from me during this period of internship by industry mentor included
helping the production team with orders, helping arrange and pack samples for press requests,
assisting sales during client appointments, helping in embroidery drafting and helping source external
fabrics, materials, trims etc. Key tasks:

Understanding the key objectives of buyers.
Maintaining stockiest
Production, Merchandising sheets and embroidery tracings (khakas)
Coming up with unique silhouettes and assisting in the design process.
Updating the social media handles regularly.
Using CAD and hand skills to develop graphics, prints and to help with the range development.
Coordinating with the production team.

Working on characters, posters, formats etc.
